Taylor Beckham spent six years of her childhood training to be an Olympic gymnast and then realized it wasn’t for her and found music to be her dream, so she went for her dream last night on The Voice Season 4 blind auditions and she shined during her performances of “I’m Going Down” by Mary J. Blige. I was not a huge fan of her, but the new coaches on The Voice 2013 were and it was a battle between Usher and Shakira on who would land Taylor Beckham on their team for The Voice Season 4.
I felt the performance was a little weak in my opinion, so I don’t know why all the love for Taylor. She is a cute girl, but I was expecting a little more from her. Usher wanted to work with a younger singer, like he has in the past with Justin Bieber. Shakira wanted girl power, but then Adam Levine joined in and was rooting for Taylor to go Team Usher, which she did!
